Use new toolkit to drive down the gender pay gap

Easy-to-use online tool lets you enter your pay data to calculate your gender pay gap, with helpful tips on what to do next. 

You can now take meaningful action to drive down the gender pay gap with a new pay gap calculator toolkit.  

The toolkit was launched in November 2024 and was developed for, and with, businesses across New Zealand to support you to understand, measure, report, and take action to close the gender pay gaps.

The toolkit has:

  • an online calculator
  • a downloadable workbook
  • a self-assessment questionnaire, and
  • templates and supporting guidance, including information to support businesses with fewer than 10 employees navigate the process.
