The Clean Crew is New Zealand’s first cleaning company with Toitū carbonzero certification. Being carbon neutral takes a range of actions, including smart use of vehicles.
The Clean Crew carefully plans cleaning routes around Hawke’s Bay. Using Google Maps, they identify which staff member lives closest to which job. Then they check the quickest, most fuel-efficient route between the two.
Taking time to plan means lower costs and lower emissions. Staff love it too, as their travel time is shorter. Clients are also excited — some signed up because of this commitment to the environment.
