Record Keeping - Closing a business

If you've ceased your business operations, you are still required to keep your business records for at least seven years from the end of the income year they relate to.

These records should include:

• banking information
• income and expenses
• PAYE
• cash and wage books
• assets and liabilities
• business plans and agreements
• minute books.
