Updating company records; Record-keeping

If your company's details change, you must update the Companies Register within 20 working days

Every company in New Zealand is required to have certain details displayed publicly on the Companies Register, including details like the registered office and address for service for the company, the names and addresses of the directors and shareholders and the number of shares each shareholder holds. If your company's details change, you'll need to update these  details as soon as possible and within the timeframes set out in the Companies Act 1993. This keeps the Register current and helps the public and shareholders to make better-informed  business decisions.
