If you employ 50 or more staff your business may be eligible to take part in the Job Support Scheme, also known as the 9-day fortnight. The Scheme provides an allowance to supplement the income of employees who have agreed to reduce their working hours for up to six months. 90 day trial period

You can hire new staff on a trial period of up to 90 days if you employ 19 or fewer people. This means, if you dismiss a new employee within their trial period they’ll be unable to take a personal grievance for unjustified dismissal.
