Importing to New Zealand
New Zealand does not currently have an import licensing system, so any business or individual can import goods to New Zealand, as long as the goods are not prohibited. There are however, regulatory requirements which can prevent some products being used or supplied here. Imports to New Zealand are liable for GST and customs duties, and quarantine restrictions may also affect some products. This is information for businesses planning to import.
